Yes, to all of this. Not sure if I'll get around to everything, but for sure the cookies. With ice cream. And maybe a dollop of peanut butter in it. Yikes. Merry Friday! What are you up to this weekend? Me ... I've got some cleaning up to do still from last weekend and hope to just do some all around catching up–magazines, blogs, housecleaning, etc. You know, the ush. And throw a birthday party in there for good measure.

Laugh ...

I never thought about it before but a true laugh does have to have at least 3 or more "ha's" in it, doesn't it? I've realized that no matter what you might be going through, laughter is an amazing and powerful medicine. It's natural, has proven health benefits and some researchers believe the major function of laughter is to bring people together. On that note let's laugh today. Crack a joke and make someone else laugh. I think you'll be glad you did. And for those of you who make me laugh, thank you:)

I Don't Know, But I Like It ...

They're obviously having a "fun" hair day. Love his music hair and her knitting hair. I think if I were a part of this, my fun hair choice would be coffee hair. It's what gets my day off to a great start. What about you? What kind of "fun" hair would you have?

Just Eat It ...

I thought this photo very appropriate considering how much birthday cake I consumed over the weekend. Our family gathering for P's birthday Saturday was a success. It may have had something to do with the great comments you left me on Friday's post–so funny! I love that you can pull through with the witty on request.

So my message to you this first week of October? Just eat it. Yup, halloween candy is going to start appearing on your co-workers desk like it does every year because she (like me), can't resist grabbing that giant bag of candy as she walks through the halloween section at Target. This is it party people. From here on out, it's candy, cupcakes, and food galore. So just eat it. In moderation of course, but enjoy it!

It's 5pm Somewhere ...

We can all relate to this, right? Good. Now I don't feel like the only one who, regardless of how organized I try to be, tend to run around like a chicken without a head. Such was this past week. And still today actually, as I am preparing to have 30+ family over tomorrow to celebrate P's 5th birthday. Yes, 30. And yes, my little P turned 5 this week. I know, I can't believe it. And my dear husband's birthday was this week too. So I had the painstaking task of not having our 5 y/o's birthday overshadow his birthday–at least for a few hours:) He's a trooper.

So do me a favor and send me some wonder woman vibes and some Tina Fey humor to get me through the weekend, will you? Hope you have a fantastic weekend everyone! Group hug:)

Frozen Good ...

This may just have to be my next attempt ... frozen pineapple yogurt. Sounds so good and healthy, doesn't it? It also has honey, ground cloves, and dried cranberries in it. Not sure about adding the latter two, but honey for sure.

Fall Dinner ...

No this isn't a photo from last Thanksgiving. It's from this past Friday night's prime rib dinner at my mom and dad's house. I had to share 'cause not only was it delicious, but it was such a great way to ring in the fall season. As you can see my mom is totally into fall and had the colors down for the evening. And all of the chatter, laughter, and occasional distressed child made me realize that the holidays are pretty much here. Are you preparing already? I know I've already started scouting halloween costumes for the kids. I've even been taking mental note on Christmas gifts this year. Wow, it's here and I love it! Hope everyone has a great week.
