Elle Fanning continues to stun. I think it's amazing that she's been able to stay out of her sister's shadow and basically forge a name for herself. First in Somewhere and now as Rodarte's muse.Image: NOWNESS

If you know me, then you know that I am a lover of stripes–manufactured or natural. So much so that when I arrived at an event last week the door guy said "Oh, I was told to look for the girl wearing stripes." Not kidding. I don't know, stripes just make me happy. I think Ms. Ingrid Bergman would agree.
Congratulations Green Bay Packers! I said I'd root for you and look at you ... you go and win the super bowl! I'm not gonna lie though, I was just as interested in the commercials too. Hands down, the winner in my book was the Volkswagen Passat commercial titled "The Force." Watch it here. I thought it was brilliant because it was cute and funny, plus could draw men, women, kids, Star Wars fans, and grandparents alike. I think when something can have that kind of pull and be tasteful it's far more brilliant than anything that has to resort to "shock value." It just is.
So here we are on the eve of Super Bowl eve, and I'm realizing that I don't really have a preference over who wins the big game Sunday. I know! I just don't
I first saw this cute family over on Lillian's blog and had to share them further 'cause they're just too cute. I'm always thinking of cool family pics to take with our kids and I think this top one has definitely inspired me. Especially since Eric has an extensive vinyl collection. Plus, these little guys just look like they know how to have plain old fun. So cute, aren't they?

At the end of the day I love nothing better than to climb into a bed with clean, crisp, white sheets. And maybe a pop of color with a throw at the foot of the bed. But otherwise, simple and clean is perfection to me in the room where we're supposed to let it all go and rest up for another go at things tomorrow.
Look what I stumbled upon on Watercolor Wednesdays over at The Lonny Blog. So cute and perfect for San Valentino! This reminds me ... I need to start thinking about something for someone.
How good is this?! Hopefully it'll help get you through the rest of the week. Here's to living the length and width of life!
I'm loving the feel of this toddler room. It doesn't scream "kids," yet it's quite obvious what it is. I like the idea of making kid's rooms an extension of the house without, of course, depriving them of their kid "stuff." I was not one to go crazy with the total baby/kid theme in the bedrooms or playroom. And I'm loving that daybed, that print is so great. I also really like how they laid out their photo wall. As some of you remember, I'm currently putting mine together that is slowly but surely coming along. I will share photos soon, I promise!
She gives such a great argument for the turban trend shaping up for this spring. And the matching red lips definitely get an assist. I really do love this look, just not sure how confident I am to pull it. Could you?
