And just like that the Olympics are over. Did you watch the closing ceremony last night? Wow, one thing is for sure, the Brits definitely have a lot to boast about when it comes to music, theater, fashion, and models, don't they? I rather enjoyed seeing the bit of catwalk thrown into the ceremony. My faves were Stella Tennant, Karen Elson and Kate Moss. Who did you love?
Oddly, the only outfit I really liked was Kate's Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown. Other than that, nothing really resonated with me. Am I alone on that? Oh and I loved Jourdan Dunn's feather headdress. She wore it like a champ (Olympic pun very intended).
And of course the Spice Girls performance was fun to watch. Anyone else think Mel B. got most of the camera action? I thought it would've been Victoria, but didn't seem like it. And I'm so glad they were holding on tight to the railings on those cars. Man, they were going pretty fast. And for the record, I thought they all looked pretty great.

So, one of my favorite choreographers had a piece with Darcy Bussell in it... and NBC didn't show it! I'm soooo bummed! Sigh...
Other than that, I'm surely going to miss the Olympics. I really got caught up in it this year.
i know music and fashion often go hand in hand-but apart from kate, thought the catwalk part was a bit naff. The spice girls was fun-thought mel (scary!) rocked-and victoria might not as well have been thereshe looked pretty terrified on the cab!
overall loved the show- highlights-Freddie, Take That, Always look on the brightside of life (brill) and Annie Lennox.

Loved the closing ceremonies! I thought the model part was cool, but you're right, none of the dresses were great. But seriously, how gorgeous is Kate Moss? I also wondered why Jessie J had such a big part?!
I think London did a really great job hosting the 2012 Olympics. S. watched most of the coverage here and now he is suffering from Olympics withdrawals. Kate Moss in that McQueen dress looks stunning! (She will forever be my favorite.) I was happy to see Madness in the closing ceremonies.
That seriously rocked, the Brits rule for sure. I've been saying for years that 90% of the best music ever is from England. What's up with that? Must be something in the water.
