And It's a Wrap ...

And just like that the Olympics are over. Did you watch the closing ceremony last night? Wow, one thing is for sure, the Brits definitely have a lot to boast about when it comes to music, theater, fashion, and models, don't they? I rather enjoyed seeing the bit of catwalk thrown into the ceremony. My faves were Stella Tennant, Karen Elson and Kate Moss. Who did you love? 

Oddly, the only outfit I really liked was Kate's Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown. Other than that, nothing really resonated with me. Am I alone on that? Oh and I loved Jourdan Dunn's feather headdress. She wore it like a champ (Olympic pun very intended).

Happy Halloween Weekend! ...

Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe halloween! Are any of you dressing up? Is that a dumb question? See, for me it wouldn't be because as much as I love halloween, I just don't care for the dressing up part. For me it's about watching the kids in their costumes, handing out candy, eating the candy and all the creative and fun stuff that goes along with it. Anyone else out there relate?

As we approach the last weekend of October, I thought I'd leave you with shots of Kate Moss modeling her last collection for Topshop. It feels like they just launched the first one not that long ago, yet here we are fourteen collections later. If you want a piece of this final collection it launches next Tuesday (11/2).

British Vogue's new September cover.

My personal favorite Kate Moss/British Vogue cover.

Landing the cover of a major fashion publication is a dream come true for any model. But landing the cover of British Vogue 30 times is clearly another. British Vogue and the ambiguous Kate Moss celebrate their 30th date together with the upcoming September issue. Incredible, right? The bottom blue cover has to be one of my favorites. The colors are just so striking.

Still love this photo of Kate with her messy hair and tiara (sans the smuggling raisins). I actually made a similar t-shirt in high school where I cut the sides and re-sewed them by hand so the shirt had an askewness about it. My mom thought I was ruining a perfectly good shirt. I thought I was brilliant and wore it with pride. So brilliant, I have no idea what I did with it. Ever have those moments growing up?
