I imagined thousands and thousands of people like this over the weekend just lying around and tinkering endlessly with their new iPad's. Did you get one? Know anyone who did? It seems the general consensus is that it's fun and works great (although not very easy to type on, but I'm sure it just takes some getting used to), but do you really need it? Is that what you're hearing?

My geek staff says we should wait a few months due to alot of glitches, and of course expect a price drop soon.
I'm waiting until it's thoroughly tested first. And I was surprised the line at Fashion Valley wasn't as long as I thought it would be. I'm going to wait a few days, then stop by and try to play with one for a bit.
I'm looking forward to tinkering around with one and seeing how I like it. Let's be honest though, I'm sure I'll adore it. I'm a sucker for the clean lines of Mac products though I'm first to admit I know nothing about the tech specs. I bet we'll all have them sooner or later... xo katie
I played with one at Best Buy on Saturday..aaand I loved it! Nope, don't need one.. though it is very good for meetings if you're a graphic designer, wedding coordinator, or in another creative industry since it is so easy to scroll through images & it really has all you'd need to give a mini presentation. I'm definitely going to wait a while & keep my macbook, but I might get one someday!!
I'm so slow when it comes to tech stuff. So, no I don't think I need it. But I'm still intrigued.
I think I'm with you guys on the wait. Dandelion, great point about doing a mini presentation on it. Didn't think about that use, nice one.
I'm not too sure if I can even handle another new technological gadget. Blah! That being said, of course I'm going to wait a while and then check it out;)
