Honesty can be funny too.
Yikes. Is honesty truly the best policy? This reminds me of something my friends and I would ponder sometimes. What's worse? ...
A. Your boyfriend/girlfriend telling you that they want to break up because they like someone else? This can be hard because you're angry but really have nothing to be angry at but the honesty itself.
B. Your boyfriend/girlfriend cheating on you. At least you can be angry and know where to focus your anger.
I myself would opt for "A" simply because I'm the type that can easily move on once I've let out all the emotions. What about you?

definitely A! cheating is, by far, the nastiest thing on earth. so despicable and heartbreaking.
A for sure. I'd rather have all the information...and I don't really need a justification to be mad. Maybe not raging fury at him directly but at the situation as a whole...
Anyway...I'd rather them tell me. Because then I can move on and find someone better :)
Absolutely A. I cannot CANNOT even fathom hearing the person you are in love with went behind your back to be with someone else. It aches my heart just thinking about it. Definitely honesty in this situation. ( I love how I say that like its not the right thing to do in ANY situation! Ha!)
I've been in the B situation so I would choose A any day. The truth is always so much better than lies. And one lie always leads to another.
