This is slightly more acceptable, but on a Birkin?I couldn't figure out if I was missing something. So I did what any concerned citizen blogger would do, I called Hermés. And they said exactly what I thought. They have nothing to do with these after market designs. They specialize in custom colored leathers and such "but not swipes of paint or bedazzling (enter smirky laughter here)."

I think small, personal alterations could actually increase the cuteness of a bag. The creativity has to be done correctly though... with taste. These bags shown here are really awful.

Elie: I thought maybe they were fakes too but then these were taken in Milan during fashion week. Taking a fake to fashion week is like taking chicken soup to a chili cook off. You'd be called out in two seconds by the experts.
