Spring Is Here! ...

Oddly enough, spring is officially here and so is the rain. It's supposed to be here all week! But still it was fun seeing "first day of spring" on the ol' calendar. I even found myself "spring" cleaning neglected areas of our house like the sticker clad cabinet in the kitchen. I had to use a hair dryer to help get the stuff off–it was hard! So that's how I rung in spring. Glamorous, right? How 'bout you? Did you have a good weekend?

Spring & Stripes ...

Spring is in the air people! Yesterday when I was out and about I definitely felt it. You know when the sun glimmers a little differently? It wasn't a chilly 65 degrees, but more like a cozy 65 degrees. And then I saw this short film that reminded me that I need to find a swimsuit soon for our annual spring Palm Springs vacation. I'm super into her one piece ... her whole kit actually. Spring, I'm ready for you!

Some Cuteness For You ...

Even though it rained this morning I've found my sunny disposition again thanks to Lauren Moffatt's spring collection. Funny what doses of red, a little black dress, cute styling and great design can do to a girl! Really liking these hats and shoes too.

Spring Weekend ...

Tomorrow's the first day of spring! Can you stand it? I want to try and do a lot of what this girl is doing here. Take moments to think and reflect in the sun. And I'm pretty certain there will be some of that spring cleaning around here too. What are you most looking forward to with this change of season?

Glistening Monday ...

Yesterday was one of those days where it wasn't just "sunny," it was "glistening." You know, the kind of day where everything just sparkles and shines. This photo captures precisely what I'm talking about. Today (according to my 70's leisure suit wearing weather man Whitney) should be the same but even more so. I'm so excited! And how about her cute striped suit? It's actually a retro fit bathing suit that I now have my eye on. It's from the WeSC Spring collection.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! No teenagers after all this weekend, but we did go to a 5 year old bowling party that was hilarious. I've never waited so long to watch a bowling ball travel in extreme slow motion to barely bump a pin. It was awesome:)
