Garance Dore has achieved here, that made me fall completely in love with fashion years ago. And now, I'm falling in love all over again. This collection gave me that same feeling I had when Tom Ford was brand new at Gucci and Madonna wore his blue velvet hipsters and silk blouse so famously to the MTV music awards in the 90's.
My hats off to Frida Giannini for keeping an amazing spirit of glamour with this collection. I love that her influences for this season were Anjelica Huston and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine (
love her voice). And appropriately enough for Oscar's weekend, Oscar co-host James Franco interviews Frida in the latest issue of Harper's. It's a good, interesting
read.
