Garance Doré's New Hair ...

Perhaps you've seen this already, but I couldn't help myself from sharing it here this fine Monday morning. Garance Doré's new short haircut is the cutest thing I've seen in a while! It is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! And what a transformation. I thought she looked great already, but love her look even more now. It suits you Garance!

And now cue millions of girls everywhere asking, "should I cut my hair?" Happy Monday everyone!

Oh Garance ...

Have you guys seen this print by Garance Doré for Kate Spade yet? Isn't it great? Hard to believe it's her first one–she's so talented. I can't wait to see the actually pieces bearing this print.

I also just watched Garance's first fashion video diary called Pardon My French. It's great to hear her voice and she's every bit as funny, energetic and charming as you'd expect her to be. Watch it, you'll love it. You can catch episode two of Pardon My French here.

In Love Again ...

It's "beyond words" collections like Gucci's fall 2011, captured in such a tone that Garance Dore has achieved here, that made me fall completely in love with fashion years ago. And now, I'm falling in love all over again. This collection gave me that same feeling I had when Tom Ford was brand new at Gucci and Madonna wore his blue velvet hipsters and silk blouse so famously to the MTV music awards in the 90's.
My hats off to Frida Giannini for keeping an amazing spirit of glamour with this collection. I love that her influences for this season were Anjelica Huston and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine (love her voice). And appropriately enough for Oscar's weekend, Oscar co-host James Franco interviews Frida in the latest issue of Harper's. It's a good, interesting read.

The Couple We Know & Love ...

Garance and Scott tell of their great and stylish love story that, in the beginning, "wasn't a love thing."

Easy, Breezy Style ...

This is what I would refer to as "easy, breezy" style. So cute and comfortable. I love deep v-necks so much but haven't been able to wear them as much lately because they're not really conducive to bending over all the time to pick up my one year old without giving a peep show. I love how her blazer steps the outfit up a notch too.

Scarf Appeal ...

Jenna Lyons photographed by blogger/photographer great Garance Dore.

I might have to try this next time I'm in an outfit pinch. We must all have at least one long scarf in our closets, right? Just drape it over your shoulders and take a tie to the waist area. Just like J.Crew's Ms. Jenna Lyons does here. No wonder we love her.
