Two things that have been on my mind lately ... dramatic drapes and blue couches. I'm usually a wooden blinds or shutters type of person but drapes are definitely leaving a different impression on me now. I especially love these floor to ceiling ones.
Now I've always known that I would love to have a blue couch someday, but it has to be the right one. And this one here is pretty perfect. I think it's because I usually go the way of neutrals for my big pieces. The perfect shade of blue would be great amongst so much neutral–as seen here in this pic. What about you? Would you consider something like a blue couch?

I would love a blue couch with a white decor. very south of france beachy.
I am loving white lately. I want everything white at home but I have a toddler here. Decisions.
I have an old vintage blue couch that I LOVE and have dragged to a number of apartments. It now rests in my baby's room (I'm due in 2 short weeks). It was the first piece of furniture in the room and is so wonderful. I can't wait to sit on it and nurse my babe. Many people said.. oh you should get that re-covered, but I love the blue. It is similar in color to the one in your picture.

Sigh - I do love dreamy ceiling to floor drapes. Especially when they float in a breeze...
