"These New York City winters just leave me pining for palm trees, surf spots, and rusted out microbuses parked on the edge of Pacific Ocean cliffs." - Grady McFerrin
Couldn't have said it better myself. Although I'm not quite in NYC, but it has been cold and super rainy in these Southern California parts. Don't you love the movement in the palm tree leaves? Which reminds me ... I think a Palm Springs visit is in order soon.

Palm Springs sounds pretty awesome right now. I've never been but I've always wanted to take a romantic stroll around town. Why is there something so inherently magical and soothing about palm trees?
I was there once and still think about it. So cool!
a trip to The Springs is in order for sure!
What a cool painting - I actually kind of wish I had a winter. Good thing I'm headed toward snow this week!
I'm always dreaming of palm trees, hence the title of my blog! :) Palm Springs sounds super nice right now. Although I'm in NY, it actually has been a shockingly mild winter! Very strange and balmy, but I'm definitely not complaining!
Great painting! Makes me wish it were warm!
Oooh, love that watercolor. :)
