Good Monday to you! Did you have a good weekend? I had what you'd call a "full" weekend. Lots of friends, family and food. Friday night was the San Diego magazine party filled with friends, laughter and great food. Saturday we had overnight family guests and great food. Mother's day was filled with family, celebration and ... great food. I think you get the picture. Do you see my pink peonies? I can't get enough of them. They're my absolute favorite flower. Every time I walk by them I get a spring in my step. So I had to share them with you. Hope everyone has a great week! Photo: Happenstance

It was so good to see you on Friday night, Haydee! And I went in search of flowers at the farmer's market but nothing really spoke to me this weekend. I might have still just had my heart set on lilacs. All I know is I need some more flowers in my place ASAP -- they really do add that extra vibrancy to my life.
Sounds like a lovely weekend! The flowers are gorgeous, and that pretty glass vase doesn't hurt either. :)
I love the look of the entire room in general. That carpet especially caught my eye--but the flowers are beautiful too, of course!

Which is why I was wondering if you would check out my last post about my future appartment - it's just that I love your style and I kinda have a little issue considering the present color of the living room's wall - orange. It bothers me but unfortunately we are not allowed to overpaint it. So I really need help and would highly appreciate it if you'd leave any advice or idea if there is any. Thank you.

had SUCH a blast on friday with you all! i bought some pink peonies for my friend on sunday for mother's day and secretly wanted to keep them... so ridiculously pretty. how can you not love a flower so gigantic?!
