10 Things - The Royal Wedding ...

1. Kate arrived as a commoner in a car, and left a princess in a carriage.

2. I liked that the wedding was low on celebs save for the Beckham's, Elton and Joss. Oh and Mr. Bean.

3. Loved that William and Kate's favorite pub owner was invited.

4. Harry's disheveled hair was awesome.

5. I thought the Beckham's looked amazing. However, apparently only military were to wear medals. And what's worse is David wore it on the wrong side. Whoops.

6. Loved seeing all the Philip Treacy "toppers."

7. Didn't you LOVE Kate's gown with the perfect figure-hugging silhouette? Love that it was Alexander McQueen.

8. How cute and genuine were the stolen, nervous glances between Wills and Kate during the ceremony?

9. Kudos to ballsy Kate for doing her own make-up!

10. Pippa's single, Harry's single ... things could get Royally interesting.

*Bonus: William and Catherine's beautiful, blue Aston Martin getaway car had recently been converted to run on 100% bioethanol fuel distilled from surplus British wine. I know, I love them even more now.

Haha awesome!

Kate's gown was perfect, so very Grace Kelly.

And I laughed out loud when I saw Mr. Bean in the crowd...hahaha.

I loved the whole day, I went to Hyde Park to watch it on the big screens that had been installed, and it was just fab! (I blogged on it!) Such a great couple!

However, I don't think Pippa or Harry are actually single! Pippa is supposedly dating Alex Loudon (former cricketer), and Harry's on/off thing with Chelsy Davy is presumably on, considering she was at the wedding!

Such a cute couple - they seem so normal even though they're royal! I love how, despite how grand the event was, William and Kate were able to add their own touches to the wedding!

the whole time i was watching the ceremony and seeing Pippa and Harry, i was thinking the same thing - they would be so cute together! it would definitely shake things up in the royal family! but unfortunately, i hear that Harry is back with Chelsy.

What I meant about Pippa and Harry being "single" is that they're not actually married. Break-ups can happen and singledom is right around the corner. And while I don't think anything "formal" would/could happen between the two, it's the "informal" I think we all wonder about;)

It was - above all - a Happy Event!

Everything inducted Happiness on people and that would make up for any faux-pas it might've happened.

But, boy, am I so ready to put the wedding behind. It was amedia crazyness before, during and after.

Wishing Harry takes a page of "his dude" book and give it a bit more time before jumping the wedding and married train. That guy needs and deserves a Happy Story himself...

McQueen coming to life through Sarah Burton makes me teary; throughout the ceremony I was imagining him grinning up on the sky and kept wishing he was here...

Whoa! Their car runs on wine? This really is a fairytale : )

David Beckham was told about the OBE medal error. He then put the medal on the right side where its suppose to be, when he was in the Cathedral...Before the wedding even began.
Why the error is the focus of the news, and not the correction speaks to the mentality of the media.

Mr. Bean was there? Oh, that just made my day!

And I do love how very personal it all was, despite the fact that the whole world was watching.

Distilled from British wine? I'm impressed. And I love all of your points -- it's one of the best recaps of the wedding that I've seen.

That's amazing. You're so clever, I almost can't TAKE IT! {To be shouted like George Costanza.} Totally agree about liking the low celebs guest list. Vicky B. looked stunning and I kind of LOVE that he wore the medals on the wrong side. Also, can we talk about how much I love, I mean, LOVE the name "Pippa?" I know it's going to be a top 10 name for baby girls in the very near future. Also, I would never, ever do my own makeup, SO much pressure!!!!

Like a fine British wine that was used to start your journey, may your marriage only grow finer with age, W & K!

ps: the night before the wedding, I absolutely did not care about the whole thing, AT ALL. Look how things change. So embarrassing!

I was thinking the same thing about Pippa and Harry. Now wouldn't that be a fairy tale ending?

THat wedding is a fairytale...

Me too appreciates the fact that they do away with too many celebrities.

And love to see Harry looking so cool and the fact that Kate's gown looks more like Grace Kelly's than Diana's, classy.

Lovely post. Unfortunately I had to work last friday so I couldn't watch the wedding, so with this post I now know a little bit more about it.

Ps. I adore the dress. So so pretty!

That's amazing about the car! I've been inundated with Will/Kate details for the past month, but haven't heard that one yet.

Apparently, Prince Charles is in DC this week for a big sustainable agriculture conference. I love that they're environmentally friendly royals!!
