Here we go ...

Suddenly my living room looks completely bare now that I've taken down all of our Christmas decorations:( It was quite the reminder that we did just move in 3 short months ago–but seems like ages! So of course I'm back to the ol' "hmmm, what can I do on this wall?" One thing's for sure, I'm going to try and organize all of the photos from this holiday and gather the best ones for framing. I've always loved the idea of a frame wall much like this one–love the wood paneled wall here too.

For those of you starting work again this week, hang in there. Awards season is upon us! The countdown is on for the Golden Globes which air Jan. 16 with hilarious host Ricky Gervais. Can't wait to watch. I wonder if he'll sneak a Fosters on stage with him? Anywho, have a great first week of 2011 everyone!

I love this idea, you could mix in framing some of the kids art as well.

Happy first week, love the count down to the globes, you are so cute.

Framed walls are fabulous! I really like these particular frames combined together, very inspiring. Good luck with decorating your wall.

haydee!! i am in the exact same boat...decorations down, now trying to figure out what to do with the space! and i recently bought a TON of frames to do this exact same "wall." one thing - i bought a few from Pottery Barn (with the super large matte and tiny photo - love) but, after looking everywhere, i ended up finding much of the same at Ikea for sooooo much cheaper than the other stores (west elm, CB2, etc)
Good luck! and please post a photo when you do it!

You should totally do a gallery wall -- that'd be incredible in your home. Maybe commission your two little ones to do some custom art pieces?
Happy first week of the new year, Haydee!

We are in the same boat, but frames are so darn expensive! They didn't make my list, but I can add them. I think I just convinced myself to not only add them, but move them to the top. Thanks H!
