Wilde Night ...

Olivia Wilde was hands-down my favorite all-around walker of the red carpet last night at the GG's. She looked amazing in this Marchesa gown and those beautifully dangerous, "I'll cut you" gold shoes. I was most anxious to see Natalie Portman since she's prego and it was to be her big night. At first I loved her pink gown, but then she revealed that sparkly rose in the front and I was sorely disappointed. It took away so much from the dress! Dare I say it was even tacky? But I still love her. My "made me laugh" award has to go to Scarlett Johansson for looking like she rode in on a motorcycle. That hair!

I hope you had a great weekend. Something tells me we may be off to a better start than many GG attendees who are most likely super hungover right now:)

Glam Week ...

Have you seen them? The GG commercials with stars in tuxes and beautiful dresses, sitting at their sparkly tables laughing as if just told the best joke in the world? It's official, we're six days out from the GG's which means that somewhere in L.A. Rachel Zoe is having a conniption about a fitting, missing shoes or en route dresses from the runway. And Rog is trailing behind her, pleading with her to take it easy. At least for the baby.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. And yes, I did get my pancakes Saturday morning and Sunday too:)

Here we go ...

Suddenly my living room looks completely bare now that I've taken down all of our Christmas decorations:( It was quite the reminder that we did just move in 3 short months ago–but seems like ages! So of course I'm back to the ol' "hmmm, what can I do on this wall?" One thing's for sure, I'm going to try and organize all of the photos from this holiday and gather the best ones for framing. I've always loved the idea of a frame wall much like this one–love the wood paneled wall here too.

For those of you starting work again this week, hang in there. Awards season is upon us! The countdown is on for the Golden Globes which air Jan. 16 with hilarious host Ricky Gervais. Can't wait to watch. I wonder if he'll sneak a Fosters on stage with him? Anywho, have a great first week of 2011 everyone!

Hooray For Awards Season! ...

I'm so excited about the Golden Globe noms that were announced this morning! Awards season bridges the happiness gap once my beloved Christmas season is over. I love the glitz and glamour of the dinner atmosphere of the Globes. Especially when you see the celebs mingling and chatting when commercial break is over. Seems fun and intimate. Congrats to Natalie and Mila for both being nominated for Black Swan. I need to see this film already, I keep hearing it's "intense." No doubt it'll be a front runner for the Oscars as well.
