Both of these pieces are by
Tom Sachs shot by
The Selby. I'm
loving the bag and I'm pretty sure it's a designed over
Klein Tools bag. I'm hoping so 'cause I have one just like it that Tom's here is inspiring me to paint over and add a fun letter or two of my own. And of course the board. I love how Sachs listed the costs of putting his complete together–right down to the $4 grip tape. If this
was originally a Klein Tools bag, then the board definitely cost more than the bag did.
P.S. Sorry no posts yesterday. Was a whirlwind day and had computer issues on the road. But all is good and back to normal today. Hooray.

Can't wait to check out your tweets, I need to get on that, too! Missed you yesterday! xo
I'm adoring the bag, but even the board makes me want to take up skateboarding.
i can't remember if i ever told you but i saw the klein tools bag you posted a while back and showed it to dusty, telling him how cute it was...and he picked one up for me at home depot on a work run one day! it's my fave!

I just stumbled on your blog via design mom and love it. Now I'm all inspired to make this bag--another DIY attempt to plague my poor spouse. Any ideas on what kind of paint to use on the klein bag to make it similar to the one Tom Sachs' people made? Is it me or does the bottom look more metallic? Thanks!
