So we finally saw Up Friday night for family movie night. We broke out the bean bags and large pillows for everyone to lounge in the living room with our PJ's. P thinks this is the best especially when the cookies come out. K thinks it's time to crawl over everyone like a human obstacle course. It was comical watching both of them! And such a cute film if you haven't seen it already.
Saturday was spent running errands, nothing special. But Sunday however, was my day! I had a facial for the first time in what seems like forever! It was amazing–I felt like a girl again:) The ambiance and atmosphere over at Bergamot Spa was so great. I cannot wait to go back and start making these things more of a habit (wishful thinking?).

And then Sunday evening rolled around ... we were so excited to watch the Laker game only to see them lose game 2 of the NBA finals. It was an emotional rollercoaster! The score kept going back and forth and then having to watch Kobe play with five fouls early in the game (six and you get ejected from the game) was like watching him play with one hand tied behind his back.
And then Monday morning rolled around ... I went to post this morning as I usually do every morning around 6:30 am and no blogger access. I kept watching my fellow San Diego bloggers able to publish new posts for the day, but I couldn't! It was like that scene in Pee Wee's Big Adventure where everyone had a bike but him. Apparently I was part of the "isolated access issues in certain US regions." Lucky me. However, I will not dwell. I've a feeling this week will be a good one. Optimism shall prevail!:)

Oh, I really like UP. I saw it twice (once on an airplane going somewhere, and once returning from somewhereland). I suppose it would be much better in a bean bag with baby K using me as a human obstacle to crawl over.
I loved Up! Oh, and I just saw this and thought of you (naturally): http://www.sundancecatalog.com/product/handmade+jewelry/handmade+necklaces/long+necklaces/happenstance+necklace.do?sortby=ourPicks
What a fun family night and I can't wait to get my butt into Bergamot, let's have a spa day this summer!! xo
p.s. I think it's going to be a great week as well!
I've never seen Up but I am convinced that movie put balloons on the map in the fashion/photography world.
I've never had a facial. I'm too scared!
Wonderful recap! I've been trying to convince S to move Up! up (!) on our netflix queue. Help!!
In any case, any week that starts out with a feeling that its gonna be "a good one" is a good week already. Perfect.
I cannot believe how SAD "Up" is. I was crying within the first 15 minutes!!
Love hearing about new spas, glad you were able to enjoy yourself.
AT: You're right, everything's better with baby K crawling all over you:)
Jayne: Very cool, great find. I might have to get it?
Feem: You name the day and time, and I'll coordinate it with E.
DB: You must! You've been missing out on some serious and well deserved pampering! Book your appointment now.
Your posts make me so happy.
I loved Up, and I love your first image with the balloons! Amazing! Aren't spa days the best? I wish I had the time to get facials once a week!

Up was a real tear jerker for sure!! jealous of your facial. did you really get cucs over your eyes? mmm so relaxing.
I cried so hard in the beginning of UP. LOVE that movie.
One of the reasons I like having Wordpress and hosting my own blog is that it rarely goes down.
And can I please come over your house to watch a movie? Because that setup you described sounds like it'd be the best. Ever. Especially with cookies.
