Library Nook ...

I can definitely see myself posting up in this little library nook with the fire on (or not) and a good book or magazine. Love the painted gray floors against the yellow-ish rug and the pop of the red seating. With the natural lighting, I'm going to go ahead and take it a step further and imagine this house on the beach:) Who's with me?

Totally on the beach! Check out that ceiling...it's either on the beach or is one of those indoor/outdoor rooms like a lanai or something. I want to go to there!

I love the small details like the lamp and the bottle jars. I'd love a library nook someday. Great post!

The nook is a must, and I wouldn't mind lighting a fire -- it's been so chilly around here the past few days. All I want to do is wear short sleeves without needing a jacket.

it IS a house on the beach! that's one of my fave little bungalows from a forever-ago issue of Blueprint...there are red-lacquered stump benches in the sitting area behind it!

super cute blog...

Love this little nook! And that giant vintage jug full of corks (what a great idea!!).

Definitely a beach house - but I'd say up Northeast somewhere, like the Hamptons.

I like this!
It does look sort of coastal without having that annoying blue-seashells-rope-coral thing going on.
You've got great style!
