Kate ...

Still love this photo of Kate with her messy hair and tiara (sans the smuggling raisins). I actually made a similar t-shirt in high school where I cut the sides and re-sewed them by hand so the shirt had an askewness about it. My mom thought I was ruining a perfectly good shirt. I thought I was brilliant and wore it with pride. So brilliant, I have no idea what I did with it. Ever have those moments growing up?

I think this my favorite picture of her ever! (I have a thing for tiaras...)

When I was 10, I came downstairs wearing neon pink tights, a jean skirt, a really long sweatshirt tied with a belt and my hair was pulled back in a really thick headband. My mom laughed at me, and I was furious. I thought I looked so cool, cool like Steph from Grease 2. I was so angry I wrote about it in my diary. That's the only reason I still know EXACTLY what I was wearing. It's documented on paper.

How is Kate THAT darn cool? Only she could make this look good.

I'm kind of obsessed with Kate Moss. She really could make a paper bag look good. Great photo!

I was to insecure to make any fashion statement growing up. In fact, I shouldn't admit it, but I'm still a bit of a follower in fashion.

Yep - I definitely had those taking-apart-then-sewing-back-together moments. But I was never too good at that...my mom usually had to save me...:)

I was never so daring with clothing. But I love what you did.

As for the tiara, everyone needs a tiara, I think.

What a killer photo. Did I ever have those moments growing up?! Ohhh score! I can't tell you how many times I would hear "Lauren?" come out of my mom's mouth about clothing. In fact she always jokes her saddest days were when she stopped dressing me! Haha! Obviously not now though...now I'm so classic and boring its...well boring sometimes!

Amazing Kate photo...Yes, those moments in highschool are the best! I remember wanting a fringe vest, but of course decided to make one because I couldn't find it. It didn't look like chic fringes, but more like a ragged shirt that was torn lol...oh well =)
