Monday No Go ...

Something tells me that all the kids going back to school today after spring break last week would love this one. If only! Especially since it's super rainy and stormy out right now. I'm pretty sure the Monday morning commuters would be ready to hit the cancel button too.

As I mentioned on Friday, we raised the roof on two kiddie parties this weekend. Saturday's was at this giant, netted, multi-level play structure of craziness! Even I went in and felt like I could compete in The Amazing Race afterwards–it was a lot of work getting through it. Sunday's was at a fun park and wouldn't you know, it had a skatepark right beside it. Eric just happened to have his board in the car so needless to say he had fun too. Oh and yes, I had my fair share of sugary frosting cake! What about you? Do anything fun, interesting?

I had an awesome weekend of friends, food, and art. I would love it if someone handed me that memo. Sigh.

UGH I wanted Monday to be canceled today too so I could stay in bed and watch movies in the cloudy, rainy weather!

I had a great weekend & TOTALLY scored huge at the fairfax flea market!

I wouldn't mind it if a Monday were cancelled now and then. Actually, with the rain this morning, it took every ounce of willpower I had to pull myself out of my warm bed and trudge in the rain to my yoga-pilates class. Yes, I was happy I went, but when it rains, I just want to stay in pajamas. All day if possible.

I love that picture you found! Perfect for your post today:)

I was talking to a woman at work who unlike you was dreading the two parties she had to go to this past weekend for her children. One was a big movie fest seeing "Diary of a Wimpy Kid"- I ALMOST offered to take her kids for her, heard the movie was excellent. The other? Involved some sort of jumpy contraption and lots of helium.
