Monday Drinks ...

I call this one modern, sophisto, utilitarian w/a lime.

The feeling blue room.
(Really do love the blue glasses lined up like that, the mirror, desk, the whole bit)

Amongst the printed word and sculptured art.
(Loving the high gloss black door that's sneaking into the photo to the left there)

I thought we'd start the week with some drinks. How to display the drink, not actually have a drink (maybe?). Anyway, here are a few creative displays of the drink that I wish to translate into my own home sometime. We're not big drinkers, but I do like how a drink display or bar cart brings cheer and a festive vibe to any space.

Happy first day of March! Actually, now that I think about it it is the month to drink w/St. Patrick's Day and all. Plus, spring's just around the corner. Cheers to that!

I'm actually not a big drinker at all. Let me rephrase that correctly: I'm actually not a drinker at all. I panic when I have to buy alcohol for parties. Or even baking. When buying rum for tiramisu, I discovered that there were more types of rum in this world than I could handle -- I had to emergency call my boyfriend to have him coach me about which one to buy. I think I'll leave the displaying of alcohol and stuff to him.

Wow, that top photo is quite beautiful, the orange piece is so cool, kind of like Hermes meets James Bond. I love the way glasses and bottles (of liquor) look when composed together. so many possibilities and colors to play with.

Sign me up for that whole scene in the second image! I'd especially just love that lamp. Big, bold and beautiful doesn't have to mean bright color!

Beautiful!! I'm not a big drinker either, but to have a space for its display does add a fun vibe to a home!! I'd make space for one too :) Very, very cool pics...!
