I first discovered Jenni Bick Bookbinding when Eric listed their recycled leather journals on his Christmas list last year. So today I ran across these Medieval Hand Sewn Italian Leather Journals and thought how the dudes would like the "non-cutesy" look of them. Actually, now that I'm looking at them more they might be too "tough" looking. Something the Terminator might jot his thoughts down in. In any case, I think they're cool looking. I especially like the contrast white stitching.

oooh these are so dark! I wonder what kind of secrets can be written in them! haha but your right, they might be a little too tough.
These are beautiful. I'd want a quill or really fashionable pen to write in it with though...something old fashioned and moody.
I think they're a great gift option for the deeply artsy dude.
