Not that long ago I read a joke about how people with
Aol. accounts still say "www dot" before giving out a web address. Obviously this might indicate that Aol. users are prehistoric when it comes to technological advances. But then I started noticing these ads lately. All I could think was "
really, Alec and Claire still say www dot?" Jokes aside, I do think these images breathe some life back into the idea of Aol. and I like the new logo. Which is why it didn't surprise me that
Partners & Spade (
Kate Spade's husband, Andy's company) were behind the transformation. Will be interesting to see if we see a surge in Aol. users again.
