Winner ...

So the bad news is I was sick all weekend. Boo. But the good news is I actually got to watch the entire red carpet for the SAG Awards yesterday while nursing myself back to health. And Ms. Rose Byrne here wins the unofficial Happenstance "Best Outfit Award." Her whole kit was perfect. How cute is her bob and those bangs? The Elie Saab jumpsuit was such a winner and while being interviewed, you could tell Rose was comfortable in it. Refreshing. Bravo to Rose, you looked beautiful! (As if she reads my blog.)

Before I go ... I had the honor of doing a fun Q & A for a new series called "mini-view" with Theresa over at Inspiration Cooperative. It's a play on the Proust Questionnaire you find in Vanity Fair. It's a really fun and great idea. Read it here.

Hope everyone has a great start to the week!

Boo to not feeling well. Hope you're on the mend.
The upside is that you got to watch the Sag Awards, and I know how much you love a good award show. Wow, rose did kill it. She almost looks unrecognizable!
H, the q&a was fun to work on with you and put together. Thank you again for helping me kick off the series. You are the world's best fire stoker!

while it's not my personal favorite, I think she took the biggest risk that paid off & that' totally wins my respect.

I'm sorry you weren't feeling well. We all have colds but have somehow been spared (so far) the full-fledged flu/random virus that seems to be plaguing so many NYers.

I watched only part of the show and the carpet but agree that RB was by far one of the best dressed. I also loved Michelle Williams and Emily Blunt. So pretty.

I'm going to have to check out your interview. the Proust questionnaire is the first thing I read when I get my VF in the mail.

Awwww man sad to hear that you were sick, but at least you got some down time and you got to enjoy the entire red carpet. Ummm, I think this look is perfection. It's fresh, mature, sexy, and just different enough for Hollywood .

Couldn't agree with you more on your best dressed pick! Loved her. Tilda was a close second for me - she always far out-distances everyone else in the style department.

She's serving us a kinder, gentler version of Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface. You can tell she's not really comfortable and confident in what she's wearing. Otherwise she could've really pulled this off.
