Ever since I saw this photo of Lesley Blume in VF I haven't been able to get her lobster hat out of my mind. I really kind of like it so I investigated the story behind it and here it is ..."... Ms. Blume’s lobster hat was an homage to the 1930s collaborations between Surrealist artists Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dali, who together crafted the iconic lobster dress worn by some of the era’s preeminent tastemakers, including the Duchess of Windsor and art collector Peggy Guggenheim.
I get it now and like and appreciate it more. I love fashion.
