Some Sofia ...

I finally got around to perusing my Vanity Fair this weekend and was so happy to see that Sofia was the subject of "My Stuff" this month. Some noteworthys ...
  • Amy Poehler is one of the people who inspire her
  • Paris is one of her favorite cities
  • Peonies are her favorite flower (mine too)
  • Her favorite drink is Prosecco
  • Sixteen Candles is her favorite movie
  • Ed Ruscha is her favorite artist
  • And she uses Clinique Lash Power mascara
There, now you can go about your week knowing more about Sofia than you did yesterday:) Have a fantastic, productive, successful week!

Marni For H&M ...

Couldn't think of a better way to start the week than with the Marni for H&M collabo. Are you as excited as I am? It releases in 17 magical days on March 8 and according to Fashionista, nothing in this collection is over $129. I know! And I love, love, love that Happenstance fave, Sofia Coppola directed the commercial for this amazing collabo. Watch it and the behind the scenes video here. And see the entire look book here. Don't forget to mark your calendars for March 8!

Plainly In Charge ...

... And speaking of a "great social success playing her cards as if she were plain" (see last post to get what I mean). Here is Sofia Coppola on the set of Somewhere. I love that she's just hanging out like a wallflower, yet she is totally and fully in charge of everyone there on that set.

Did you get my tweet last weekend about the interview of Sofia by the great Kim Gordon? It's in the current issue of Bust magazine. Admittedly, I'd never persued this magazine before but it was staring at me while in line at Whole Foods. And well, since Sofia was on the cover ... hello impulse buy! But really, the interview is great especially when both Sofia and Kim start talking about being working moms ... super relatable.

SC ... LV Capsule

So Cool ...
Super Chic ...
Simply Charming ...
... Sofia Coppola

The Louis Vuitton capsule line is back this month with a new size and new colors. Being a Happenstance favorite, this is something I would definitely covet. My Christmas list may be starting sooner than I thought.

Speaking Of ...

Sofia Coppola & Thomas Mars of Phoenix

Even though they're not married Sofia and Thomas still fit the bill of significant others who work together–especially since they just had their second child. Thomas and his band Phoenix have collaborated with Sofia (once again) on her latest film that everyone is excited about, Somewhere. I think working together and doing a creative collaboration might even be a bit tougher. So kudos to these two.

P.S. If you're in the mood click here to see what it's like when Phoenix and Snooki collide. I'm warning you, it kind of hurts.
