Hello? ...

The evolution of the telephone. How funny is this? What I love about this visual timeline is that you can see how there was some sort of party happening around the 60's and 70's with the fun, bright pastel colors. Then things started getting dismal again around the 80's. Speaking of phones, do you have a land line where you live? We currently just use our cell phones, but I'm getting nostalgic for a land line (sans caller ID). I kind of miss that element of surprise when I was a kid and the phone used to ring in our house and we'd answer not knowing who it was. Then someone would yell, "Haydee it's for yooouuu!" Yeah, I think I'm going to bring that back for my kiddos. Back to simplicity.

Whoa, didn't think I had so much to say about telephones. Let's get down to business. Any fun plans this weekend? We have a kiddo's birthday party to go to which should be fun. Then on Sunday I have a TPS photo shoot which I know will be fun and laughter filled. Looking forward to it. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Group hug:)

Oh! I can't wait to see the photos from that photoshoot. I get so excited whenever you show your face because you rarely do so. Needs to happen more often! (Pressure).

I love this! I used to love when the phone rang in my house, especially when I was in middle school and my entire life was based around my friends calling me and me calling them. I think my mom ended up getting me MY OWN PHONE LINE at this time because it became very hard to wrangle it out of my hands...such a good point. We have a landline, but it has caller id, which I conveniently use all the time...

Have a great weekend and photoshoot!!
