I Workout ...

You guys, I've been working out. It's something I've been trying to get my head around for some time because simply put, I'm not a gym person. I'm more of a bikram yoga gal. Anywho, I'm on week three of pumping iron and so far, so good. Feeling so good in fact, that I almost want to do a mini marathon. Almost. But if I ever did, do you have any tips for a beginner like me? In the meantime, I thought I'd at least share my workout staples.
  • My trusty BPA-free and dishwasher safe water bottle.
  • Hands down the best ear buds I've ever used. My ears are on the smaller side so I've always had a problem with them staying in until I got these.
  • I love the Power Y Tank from Lululemon. It has the best support and the length is just right. My bottoms are also Lululemon. The hidden waistband pocket is super handy. This is also my yoga outfit.
  • I usually pour one packet of Electro Mix in my water bottle for post workout replenishment.
  • These are the runners I want to get. I told myself I'd have to wear my old sneakers until my workout becomes more consistent. I think I'll have 'em in no time:)

Earbuds always fall out of my ears- never occurred to me that my ears were too small. This helps so much!!!

Congrats on the keeping to the workouts. You can totally do a half, full, or mini marathon. You have that drive in you.

Man, three times and I still can't get the word verification right.

Thanks for the earbud tip. I have to get the ones that wrap around your ear to stay on. These look better.

good for you! my cousin, http://meettheburkholders.blogspot.com/, recently started running and she just did a half marathon. it's amazing, she went from zero running to that in a matter of weeks! you should ask her about it :)

Go, H! I bet you're all high on endorphins and feeling so good. I recently started a bar/pilates class that I'm totally loving. Oh, and last year my sister, who never ran a day in her life, started training and ran the entire LA marathon. Amazing! Keep up the good work.

I have a hard time with earbuds, too! Totally getting these. And love my Lulu Y Tank - it's the best!

The outfit is adorable. The one thing I would HIGHLY recommend is that you don't wait to get a good pair of sneakers, especially if you're running. That said, you should go for comfort and fit over cuteness for those. It's hard, I know, but you really don't want to mess up your feet. I suggest going to a place that specializes in running shoes and getting fitted for the right pair.
