The Cream ... Event Re-Cap

So as most of you know, I don't normally do wedding posts on this blog but an event like The Cream is enough to make one reconsider. This event was an aesthetically pleasing explosion for anyone who loves inspiration and creativity! Holy smokes, there was so much prettiness, great food, great (strong) drinks, fun music and cute ideas to be taken in that I did not know where to begin. So herewith are a few snaps that I managed to take while balancing my drink, camera and cake. Oh and I have to mention that the venue, the Book Bindery in Culver City, was the most amazing space.
There was so much incredible food. I kept going back for the chocolate chip cookies at the Forage table. Even Sweet Lucie's was there with a huge line that wouldn't quit.
Tabletop ideas were abundant and so very well done. I was impressed. It made me want to plan a party pronto! Or even renew our vows;)
There were stations set up where you could partake in some of the creative fun. Here we had stationary and stamps with all letters of the alphabet so you could personalize your piece.
This softer color scheme wouldn't particularly be my choice but I could definitely appreciate the prettiness and flowers. And please excuse the tacky water bottle. I didn't notice that there 'til now.
Aaaaand can we say dancing?! I did not expect to dance at all last night, but with the freakin' awesome music by The Flashdance no one could help themselves. I def got a workout. There was even a dance contest where the winners won an expense paid trip for two to Paris. Hello, Paris! And these ladies you see here were some of the models wearing really great pieces from the BHLDN fashion show. It was such a fun night and thanks to my fellow event goers Theresa and Brandis who made the night even more fun.

If you or someone you know has a wedding to plan I highly recommend checking this event out next time. Even if you're just planning some sort of party–there's something for everyone.
