A funny thing happened yesterday. I went to the 6:30am yoga class, which I've
never done before, and it completely shifted my day. I was so energized and going about my morning when I realized that it was noon and I hadn't even thought about getting on the computer to post on my blog! And you know what? It was quite liberating. I had this strange satisfaction from disconnecting that I decided to skip yesterday's post altogether. Don't worry, I won't make it a habit. It was just a great feeling to pull away from the norm that can be so subconsciously monotonous at times. Even something I like, like blogging. So my lesson for the day was ... change is good and nothing is as urgent as simply living. I'm going to take this with me into the weekend.
Don't forget to change your clocks this Sunday! Remember, it's "spring forward," and "fall back." So we fall back an hour, which means you gain an extra hour of sleep on Monday. Yeah! Have a great weekend everyone! Group hug:)

Awesome! I love it when a great day happens and you never even planned it! Good for you! Happy Friday! :)
It's fantastic that you change up your schedule and take time for yourself. You've got me thinking...
You always give the best group hugs.
And, yes, I love the freedom that comes with just doing what your body wants to do. 6 am yoga? You are a rock star!
Early morning yoga is hands-down the best way to start the day. That and a smoothie or fresh juice and you are SET! Have a great weekend! xo
Great post Haydes, I love that you went to 6:30am yoga!! I totally agree, letting go is so good for ones soul. Have a great weekend!
Hm, what a great lesson to take into the weekend, and beyond. (Note to self.) Namaste.
I've experienced similar liberation in the odd occasion I leave my mobile home and enjoy the entire day without having it...
I couldn't go on and live disconnected for long but a me-time is always welcome in these times when we're always connected asnd reachable.
Happy weekend!
Rise and shine yoga is THE best!! Working out in any form always seems to boost my day, but there's something about morning yoga that reeeally gets me going. Good for you!
