It's 5pm Somewhere ...

So who's going to a halloween party this weekend? Tell me, are you more apt to dress up as a sexy cat, or a scary monster? It's weird, I really like halloween and the spooky fun that goes along with it, but I've never been one to dress up. If all it were was carving pumpkins, decorating and watching It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, I'd be totally fine. Which is precisely what we plan to do this weekend and I couldn't be more happy:) I might even have to throw some pumpkin ale into the mix. Yesterday's comments on the beer post have me inspired to try some! I hope you and yours have a wonderful weekend! Group hug:) Your weekend links ...

Love this "day off" outfit.

Great tabletop inspiration. Jealous of the vintage Vera Neumann tablecloth.

A chocolate infograph. Chocolate.

Such a fun and clever idea for both kids and adults (via Design Mom).

Cynthia Rowley and her daughters. Love.

I haven't ever been one to dress up either but I do like all the other parts of Halloween - esp all the TREATS!

So not a dress up person either, but when I'm peer pressured (like for a Halloween party this weekend) I go with my old stand-by - Wednesday Addams. I definitely go for scary (or, in this case, macabre).
Have a great weekend, H!

I'm not about dressing up but I do love candy. Lots and lots of candy.

I'm not into dressing up either! But...I did have my mom mail up my Ghostbusters costume from my High School Dance performance, just in case I change my mind! :)

Halloween parties already? I don't know if I could dress up this early. My weekend plans include packing and driving down to DC in eager anticipation of the first day of my new job. Have an awesome one, Haydee!

I always end up the scary monster, or total goof ball amongst all the sexy cats in the room. One year I went as Mary Katherine Gallagher and had the best time making a fool of myself while all the "sexy" folk looked at me like I was crazy. I didn't take it personal, I just figured I was too cool to be at that party, so I left and headed to the Shanty--that was more my crowd.

P.S. That Vera tablecloth was a total score; thanks for the shout out.
