Thought I'd hit the reset button for the new week with some fun color and a popsicle. Did you have a good weekend? My weekend actually ended up being kind of busy. On Saturday I met up with some of my favorite people in San Diego for a photo shoot that was super fun. I didn't know I could have so much fun being the subject! Sunday was spent with family and great meals. Eric and I even got to steal away to see a movie. We saw The Big Year with Steve Martin, Jack Black, and Owen Wilson. I would say it was an endearing movie with funny parts. Not double-over laughter inducing, but entertaining. If you need something light, I recommend it. Oh, and I started to wonder when the local radio stations are going to start playing holiday music all day long. Don't roll your eyes, I can't help it. At least I'm not the only one:)
Before we run off to our Monday duties, I want to welcome all the new Happenstance readers! So happy to have you. I look forward to hanging out:) Wishing everyone a fabulous week.

I love that photo! It sounds like a fun weekend - I had been wondering about that movie! I saw 50/50 recently and LOVED it (even though I cried like a baby...it was hilarious in parts but SO touching/sad in others!). And yes, I can't wait for the holidays too! ;) Actually, I mostly can't wait for the weather to finally cool down...though I don't think it'll happen this week :(
glad i have a friend wondering the same about holiday jingles!
new week, new page, new you! hope its a better one!
Even though it's chilly today, a popsicle sounds good!
Already listening to Christmas music! It'll be here before we know it!
Saturday was a full day of working from 8-9 but on Sunday I had a fabulous day of Church then a dessert party. Yum!
It was so great to see you this weekend! Your pics rock. These colors are lovely and a great way to start the week.

I LOVE that photograph! Sounds like you had an amazing weekend. And hello, I am your newest reader! I really love what I'm seeing here :)
I was sorry to read that you were feeling down and especially about losing your friend. Hope your reset sticks. And thanks so much for the shout out for my invites!
super cute photo and had loads of fun with you this weekend! so stoked at the outcome:)
Photoshoot?? I want to hear more! I miss you and all those other San Diego ladies so much!
Thank you, I wish you also a happy week.
How colorful is this place! It made me to smile.
This photo is FABULOUS!
Oh my gosh I can't even tell you how comforting it is to me to know I am not the only person (woman) ready to hear Christmas music. I was too scared to admit it, but now I feel like singing it from the hill tops! I LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC! (And if I saw you in person and shouted this in your face I would follow it up by singing Merry Christmas Darling by Karen Carpenter to help soothe the situation.)
I just read my comment...I sound crazy! Crazy FUN.
Wishing you sunshine & cheer!
