So my mental health day from Friday ended up carrying into the entire weekend. It was almost too easy since the weather was so beautiful and we had an amazing beach morning on Saturday. That's when I snapped this photo. I was laying out (total rarity), looked up and couldn't think of a better view ... my umbrella against the clear, blue, sunny sky. Aaaand, I even got around to reading my book The Help on the beach! I was really happy about this since I need to finish it before the movie actually comes out–I know, I'm under the gun. Then my weekend was rounded out by seeing some friends yesterday that I hadn't seen in a long time. It was so fun. Really, the weekend was quite magical for me.

Sometimes, you definitely need to take the whole weekend -- and I'm so glad you allowed yourself that. I love the photograph. And isn't The Help such a great book? I listened to it as I drove cross country and don't even know whether to recommend people read it or listen to it -- the audiobook was that incredible. Happy Monday, Haydee!
