Vintage Bike Collection ...

Um, have you seen the vintage bikes for sale over at PUBLIC Bikes? What was once used as inspiration for them can now be yours to own. Simply put, they're running out of space in their office. I'm heartbroken that this Schwinn DeLuxe Racer (above) is already sold. But this Raleigh West End is still available, including the "English after market child carrier." So cute. Check out the entire vintage bike collection here.

This just feeds my Brooklyn-living dreams even more. I can't wait to buy a bicycle...and a vintage one it might have to be.

Vintage bikes and vintage typewriters are what do it for me. These are incredible.

i love my vintage ross. but it's sooo dang heavy i can't get it out of the basement by myself. i'm thinking of switching to something more lightweight... which means a NEW non-cool looking bike. :(

i went to a school where is was almost required that you ride a bike around campus. i always wanted a cruiser and this vintage variety is perfection!

how cute is the one with the little back-bike-seat?! i do have to say that my vintage bike is a pain in the butt to ride so i'm upgrading to a new, comfortable version. BUT maybe i just got a lemon!
