I ♥ New York (especially in the spring) ...

What better way to start the beginning of this new week than with a great shot of springtime in New York? I've been to NYC during this time a couple of times and I loved it. These great photos from Kylie Nixon reminded me that I need to go back. I thought about moving to NY once when I was single, but quickly wussed out. I still think about it now for fun, but honestly I don't know how we'd do it with kids. Seems like it would be a bit more challenging in NY, especially sans a car. I also miss strolling through neighborhoods like this one below. It's so very NYC magical, isn't it? Hope everyone had a great weekend!

*Sigh* so beautiful. I can't wait to go to New York again. Although I would really love to see it in the fall. (Yes, I'm having a "You've Got Mail" moment over here...haha.)

Happy Monday to you!!

it's amazing how only a few hours away it's more springtimey than it is here in boston.

I've always said that my favorite times in New York City are the spring and fall (it's too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter). Maybe we should just transplant the whole city to SoCal. I can't wait to start wandering those streets again. There are little surprises everywhere you look.

I love New York in the springtime - it's just so beautiful! I've always thought about moving to New York, but my life is so settled here in So Cal. Don't know if it's just wanting to be on the opposite coast for some time - but New York really is such a magical place!

I ALMOST was going to spend the summer there this year but opted not to. Sigh, I love NYC and all its many facets. Those flowers are just beautiful.

We live in a suburb outside of NYC. I went to college there and lived there after, but with a baby and a family, it's just hard. Lots of my friends live there, but they're mostly all planning their escapes. I have to say, NYC in the spring and summer is the best. I don't really mind the heat, except when it's 90plus, otherwise, it's amazing. If you come here you have to let me know. Seriously.

ps: are you going to BlogHer in San Diego on Aug 5-6th?? Am thinking about it....

I love visiting the suburbs of NYC rather than in the hub of the city. Your pictures are absolutely amazing and now I want to visit again.

Ah, New York. There really is no other city like it. Used to live there 10 years ago, and it still holds a special place in my heart. You've captured New York in spring quite beautifully. Thanks, H.

Springtime and Fall in NYC is amazing! I love the energy the city has. Raising children there would be awesome between the ages of 5-12 years old. For you guys, I picture Brooklyn's Park Slope area (perhaps Carroll Gardens or Fort Greene too). There, you could have a car for special out of town road trips or large shopping adventures, if you so desire. :)

I lived in NY throughout my entire 20's and would LOVE to live there still, however, it's way too expensive to do so w/ children (at least, for me). I miss my time there so much it hurts. Loved seeing the tulips on Park Ave!
