Olivia Wilde was hands-down my favorite all-around walker of the red carpet last night at the GG's. She looked amazing in this Marchesa gown and those beautifully dangerous, "I'll cut you" gold shoes. I was most anxious to see Natalie Portman since she's prego and it was to be her big night. At first I loved her pink gown, but then she revealed that sparkly rose in the front and I was sorely disappointed. It took away so much from the dress! Dare I say it was even tacky? But I still love her. My "made me laugh" award has to go to Scarlett Johansson for looking like she rode in on a motorcycle. That hair!I hope you had a great weekend. Something tells me we may be off to a better start than many GG attendees who are most likely super hungover right now:)

I loved her dress too. My favorite was Anne Hathaway. I wasn't digging that rose either. Or Michelle's daisy disaster.

ReplyDeleteOlivia's dress is stunning, but the shoes are a bit too much for me. Natalie's dress...I don't have words for how gorgeous she is and how not that dress is. As for Scarlett, the dress didn't really feel like her and the hair was strange. I did, however, love the back on Anne Hathaway's dress.

ReplyDeleteOh! I actually loved Natalie...I guess the rose didn't bug me and she looked so glowy...but yes, Olivia looks gorgeous ;) I liked the long sleeves on a lot of the dresses and Anne Hathaway was stunning!

ReplyDeleteI agree Natalie P. looked terrible, she needs a new stylist. OW's dress was pretty fab although I did think it looked kind of Oscar like....but gorgeous for sure!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with La Feem. It was a bit high minded for the Golden Globes- especially when she was only a presenter. With that said, it is still a knockout dress.

ReplyDeleteOlivia was definitely a fave as well. Natalie was oh so tacky with that rose on her chest. And Scarlett's hair was sad, but she's still gorgeous!
