At 67, Mick still looks like he can party. Here he is on the cover of the newly redesigned T magazine. Mick mentions in the magazine that he has "no interest in raking over the past." Now I'm even more curious about that Keith Richards book. Oh and last night as I was driving home from an awesome dinner with some old TransWorld colleagues, "Gimme Shelter" started playing. I have the mag sitting in my bathroom for everyday perusal. I think I'm in love with the past. I can't believe I wasn't born in the 50s to be able to enjoy them in real time. Regardless, yes, yes, it is totally illegal not to blast Gimme Shelter. In fact, I'm gonna blast it right now.
ps: I wanted to add this. I have VIVID memories of my mom dancing around our living room, playing her Sticky Fingers & Let it Bleed albums and I laying on our white shag rug playing with the zipper on the cover. She used to scream, "It's just a shot away...It's just a kiss away..." And she was and still is absolutely tone deaf.
