Happy New Year! ...

Don't you love this photo? The look on her face and her body language seem to say "not before my cup of tea." I saw this as a giant metaphor for keeping a look out for one's self. You know, taking time to smell the roses, have your cup of tea or in my case coffee. This is a good one for everybody. Men, women, whether you have children or not. We all get so busy and lose track of ourselves until we're beat tired. I'm going to resolve not to do that so much in 2011. After all, if you're not firing on all cylinders, then you're really of no use to anyone. Especially yourself. So go ahead, let's have that second cup in 2011!

Have a wonderful new year's eve everyone! And please be safe out there tonight! See you in 2011. Group hug:)

I LOVE that image! I agree, slowing down and taking care of oneself is very important and not something I am terribly good at. Have a very Happy New Year. Here's to 2011! x

You are absolutely right. We get so busy, we wear ourselves down. Here's to taking a tea-out whenever necessary.

You're adorbs...group hug. I'm so glad I discovered this whole southern cali blogger contingency this year. Obsessed with every image you put out there. Hell YEAH, thankyouverymuch, I will enjoy that 2nd cup!!! I'm also thinking perhaps the photographer is agonizing over the fact that he chose the brunette over the blonde. Just a thought.

Happy 2011. Such a weird looking year, but let's make it a great one!!!
