Game On ...

Well, Thanksgiving might be over but to me the season of food, drink, sweets and candy canes has only just begun. And I love it! Know what else I love? The local Christmas tree lot starts selling trees today. I casually mentioned this to Eric and he gave me the "put the gun down" look. Maybe he's right, I should probably get to this sea of dishes, wine glasses and coffee cups around me first. All the sign of a great time yesterday.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving (if you celebrated it) and I hope you have a great weekend! Group hug:)

I immediately get into the holiday mood right after Thanksgiving too. How early is too early though for a real tree, I wouldn't want it to be dead before christmas!! Good luck with your cleanup today, I know the feeling:)

funny! spent couple hours in the morning trying to convince husband that we should go get our xmas tree today. but I did not win... :(
the heater is on 24/7 and the tree would be dead by the 25th.
so excited for the holidays!!!

I'd say give yourself at least one day to rest and recover from Thanksgiving before Christmas season officially begins. Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving and enjoy the long weekend (and leftovers).

I love this photo! I am so eager to get our tree, but Ro' keeps telling me to throttle down. So last night I made the whole family hot cocoa and we watched a Christmas Story. We have to kick off Christmas some how.
When I was little we used to gather at my grandparents house to watch that movie.

I'm such a Christmas fanatic too -- as soon as the meal was over, I was hanging up the stockings and putting up the lights! It's the best time of year.
