Feeling A Lot Like Christmas ...

This isn't exactly what it looks like where I live, but it sure feels like it. It's been colder than usual here in southern California! It's nice to finally have the lyrics in Christmas songs match the weather for once. Did you have a good Thanksgiving weekend? Ours was filled with family, friends and football. Saturday night we got caught in the rain at the USC vs. Notre Dame (let's not talk about it–the lady sitting in front of me was even reading the new Keith Richards book) game and while it was cold and we got soaked, it was actually kinda fun. It made getting home and taking a hot shower, changing into PJ's, baking chocolate chip cookies and tea all the more enjoyable. Definitely feeling Christmasy these days. And now I'm in full-on decorating and shopping mode. First stop ... Cyber Monday!

Aww, your weekend sounded wonderful! :) My weekend was the same, the three fs :) We didn't get out to the SC game on Saturday (too tired from the night before), but we watched on TV and couldn't believe how much it rained towards the end! Anyway, yeah, that's the extent that I want to talk about it too :)
Definitely looking forward to Christmas now :)

Oh man, I know what you mean. It's been so cold in Northern California. I don't love the snow but I LOVE how it looks in nature. So pretty!

I am completely getting in the holiday mood...it's getting colder here and we actually had flurries on Thanksgiving morning, which was a surprise. Glad you had a great Thanksgiving, sounds so perfect with the pj's and baking. My kind of day!

Oh, I am ALL OVER Cyber Monday. Like a fat kid with cake. Or just me with cake. I'm so excited for the holidays this year. My in-laws came over last night with BAGS full of fun toys and books for Charlie and we're enjoying them so much. The holidays take on such a different meaning after you have kids, it's wonderful to relive the magic all over again!
