Top to bottom: Bullock's Wilshire Tea Room Coconut Cream Pie, Blum's Coffee Crunch Cake, Chasen's Banana Shortcake, and the Brown Derby Grapefruit Cake.
How awesome is this whole cake layout? Everything from the painted stripes and cake stands, to the names of the cakes, and the cakes themselves are perfect. I really do like the idea of giving specialty cakes fun, catchy names like these. When it comes to names why do we stop at the description of the cake? Like "chocolate cake" or "vanilla cake with strawberries?" B-o-r-i-n-g. Cakes that look like this deserve better sounding, exciting names. But the one with serious tear through capability for me is called "Blum's Coffee Crunch Cake." It looks and sounds so good, doesn't it? Which one are you eyeing?

They're like works of art. I love everything about it.
Oh I love those photos. Something very Willy Wonka about them!
That is the best pie picture I've ever seen.
After seeing these, no pressure or anything for the person that brings dessert to the next family dinner.
Oh my. My stomach did a happy little flip flop and now I want to get my hands on some of these. You notice I said "some" not "one". One wouldn't be enough.
