OR... they're at a party and she's talking just a bit too flirtatiously with the neighbor. As she reaches back to grab another olive for her martini, her boyfriend is leaning menacingly over the lamb, hissing, "I swear I will kick his ... "
OR she's talking up a business proposal to a potential investor and he's leaning in to whisper, "Honey, you've got spinach in your teeth..."
There is indeed something fierce in his grip on the table...
I totally see it. After years in acting, if there's a skill I have, it's reading body language. I love all those little subtle clues that tell you about a relationship between two people...
