You, I Like ...

When I first stumbled upon this Emersonmade piece of cute I thought I had to remember this for Valentine's Day (which seemed like eons away still). And now it's fast approaching ... are you into Valentine's Day? It never swayed me either way even when I was single. But admittedly it is fun to do something for that special someone.

Can you imagine leaving this on someone's desk? It's the perfect little message for someone you secretly admire, a friend, or even a boyfriend or husband. Even if you know you love the person "like" is where it all began, right?

So cute! I love everything they do---seriously, everything! And I love valentines day. I didn't always when I was single, but now that I'm an engaged homebody it's nice to have a special day to celebrate now and again. A little reminder of falling in love, awwww.

I admit, I do enjoy Valentine's day, but I don't look at it as a "couples" thing. When living with roommates, every year I would put together a cute little gift basket for each girl of candies and undies. That way, no matter what their relationship status was, they'd feel special and cared for by a friend. Plus, it gave me the excuse to bust out some girly cuteness... and I don't always let that side of me shine too brightly. :) So, Valentine's day = darling gifts for friends and fun crafts with kids. Love it!

Valentine's Day is my favorite "holiday" because, well, it's also my birthday! :) I love this Emersonmade little valentine idea! I wish I had a crush at work to leave that for. But instead I have a lovely boyfriend who I live with, and I have no job. hehe But work was where it all began with us, and we used to tell each other early on and at the end of our phone conversations, before we could ever utter the big loaded word "love", "I like you." :)
