Ski Season ...

This post is a shout out to my dad who called me from Mammoth yesterday in between runs. He called to say "hi" and said the conditions were good. How cool is he?

I'll never forget the time he tricked me into going down a black diamond run at Mammoth when I was about 11 or 12. I was sooooo pissed. All excitement to rule the bunny slope again that day had vanished in an instant. I did make it down okay but swore I'd never ride the chair with him again. But of course I did:)

P.S. My mom's pretty cool too. How lucky am I?

The first -- and only time -- I went skiing was when I was in 7th grade. It was a nightmare of an experience. I so admire those who can ski but I'm sticking to ice skating in the wintertime.

{Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier -- love yours. I'll be back for sure!)

How Cute!!

We'll be heading to Park City on Monday for a snowy cold Christmas. I am excited I get to finally wear my Sorel Boots I've owned for years and never worn, they're so cute!

p.s.The girls are taking ski lessons too.

I too might actually get to the mountain this year! I snowboard now too:)

Hey Brandi! Yeah, if you have a bad experience I can understand quitting. Sometimes hanging out in the lodge sounds better anyway:) Or ice skating!

If you are heading to Utah to ski, I would suggest visiting Alta. Doesn't have the papparazi and movie stars, but the best skiing anywhere.
