Happy Weekend ...
One thing I really look forward to on the weekends is actually getting through an entire cup of coffee in the morning. It usually gets lost in the mix and freezing cold by the time I get through the morning, weekday rush with the kids. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Any fun plans this weekend? Tonight we're headed out to a new restaurant with some dear friends of ours. It was such a busy day today I can't wait to have a glass of wine! And don't worry, I'll be sure to finish it ... and then some. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Group hug:)

Puddle Chargers ...
Seriously loving the color combinations of these Sperry Top-Sider Shearwater boots from J. Crew. Don't get me wrong, I still love my LL.Bean's I got last Christmas. But they def seem more serious, and these a bit more fun. Either brand, they're perfect for charging puddles as people around you play puddle Frogger (did I just date myself?).
Free City ...
Was perusing the Free City website recently and ran into so many fun things I had to share. Free City were definitely one of the originators of the simple, clean graphic on apparel. I'm especially loving the collaboration they did with Vans and the Sk8-hi shoe (one of my all-time favorite sneakers). They're made from old army tent fabric–how cool is that? I definitely see a few things that would go on a wish list. They're not exactly cheap, but I will say that the few pieces I've had for many years have only gotten better with age.
Geoff McFetridge x Heath Ceramics ...
The one thing I really wish I hadn't missed over the weekend was the opening of Geoff McFetridge's show at Heath Ceramics Los Angeles. But I was excited to catch this glimpse of Geoff's amazing graphics and illustrations on the amazing wares of Heath. Isn't this a fun table setting? I can picture the pretty, rich colors of Thanksgiving in these pieces. I'm hoping to check it out sometime before his show exits on December 31st. So should you. See more pics here.

Brixton x Fender ... Friendly Union
I love me a good collabo. Especially if it's called a "friendly union." A few weeks ago I was at Brixton HQ and had the privilege of seeing the latest from their "friendly union" program. It's a limited edition guitar and record case set that Brixton did with Fender guitars. And yes, they really are as cool as they look. Especially that army green color, love it! Why on earth do people think I'm referring to Steve Buscemi whenever I say "that guy from Boardwalk Empire is super cute?!" Clearly I'm referring to Michael Pitt.
What can I say? Winona forever. She'll always be a fave of mine. *Lindsay on the other hand isn't usually a fave of mine, but I have to give props when she manages to look pretty and healthy in a photo. Such is the case.*Update: It is Sienna Miller! It clearly says it in the photo credits too. So strange that I was so sure it said Lindsay. Wishful thinking I suppose?

Say TSE ...
I've been a fan of TSE for so long that my coveted gray, turtleneck sweater may now be considered vintage. Yikes. So I was more than happy, and flattered, when TSE reached out and asked if I'd like to share their new film directed by Douglas Keeve (of "Unzipped," and "Seamless" fame) with you all. The film touches perfectly on relationship familiarities, while featuring pieces from their fall collection. And the score by Alana Stewart is a major bonus. Enjoy.
