The Talent, The Hair & The Gown ...

This is the type of gown that could easily swallow someone whole. But Carey Mulligan wears it well. Hat and all! I really do want a reason to wear a gown like this sometime in my life–even if just for a few hours at a photo shoot. Don't you?

    Wow! Completely agree!! When would we ever get the chance to wear a gorgeous gown like this in real life? It saddens me that we don't create opportunities...
    But yes, Carey looks incredible. Where this gown would wear most people, she definitely wears this gown. Gorgeous!

    When I was a teen a friend of mine inexplicably had a closet full of ball gowns which we'd try on and flounce around her house in eating takeaway pizza. Maybe NYEs the time to throw a ball gown and pizza party?!

    God, I went into An Education with such zero interest in Carey and walked out her numba one fan. She's stunning, but more than that THE GIRL CAN ACT. Two thumbs up.
