Fun In The Sun ...

Even though this is clearly a water park something tells me the beaches will be looking similar this weekend. As they should really. We've been begging for the sun here in So. California and it's here in full effect. It was already almost 80° this morning at 9am! Woo hoo!
You have to admit though, there's something sort of fun about floating in this lazy river. Just try not to think of it as taking a bath with perfect strangers and you'll be good.

    I agree, there's something so fun about it. It was rainy all night and morning here, I soon as the sun came out people were running towards the beach. I'm still waiting to see more rain, it's a nice change.

    I have never thought of it like a big bath with strangers, but now I will not be able to get that idea out of my head. Great, just what I needed before we head to the water park at Legoland. Something tells me these pictures are exactly what Legoland will look like today...if not worse.

    The beach at 25th street in Del Mar was super lovely this morning! Not that crowded, though I am sure that tomorrow all the beaches will be packed.
    I'm thinking I will avoid the warm bath/lazy river with 3000+ locals. :)

    Hope you enjoy that sunshine and sand this weekend! I think I might like the lazy river as an adult -- as a child, a lazy trip down the Delaware River was tortuously slow.
