Go Go Goyard ...


Have I told you how hard it is to find a good photo of the Goyard St. Louis tote? You can find some, but they're not well shot or shot tabloid style on a celebrity. In any case, I love this shot of the Goyard wallet. Complete with crown, stripes and initials. Which brings me to my question ...

Would you leave the item blank or would you have the extras added? I didn't think I was into the stripes until I saw a friend's a few weeks ago (you know who you are;) and I loved it! As for initials, not sure if I'd get my own, maybe my kid's? Or none at all? What would you do?

For the record, I do not have a Goyard of my own. This post is what I would deem dreaming or manifesting. Depending on what kind of mood you're in. I for one am in a good mood;)

    After seeing a Goyard dog bag in their San Fran store window, I also had a tough time finding a good picture of it. Hmmmmm... the Goyard powers that be must be tough cookies.

    I love the initials and stripes combo, but you really can't go wrong!

    I agree I did a post sometime ago and it as really really difficult to find a decent photo!! a friend of mine has the St Louis plain and looks great!

    That wallet is amazing! I say hell yes to stripes :)
    I was at the NY tradeshow Coterie one year and counted how many Goyards I could spot. Total was something crazy like 32.

    My mother in law got a Goyard bag a few years ago when they became the rage on Madison Ave. She was tempted to get her initials on it, but heard from a bunch of people that the paint actually schmears off after awhile...I think it would be worse on a wallet because you're constantly touching it, etc. Other than that little hiccup, I LOVE that wallet!!!

    I'm taking a 'When in Rome' approach to this. I say yes to stripe AND initials. Why not right? Might as well tout your tote to the fanciest and fullest!

    I've never heard of Goyard before, but your post has left me quite fascinated. I really like the stripes on the wallet though. I'd vote for that.
